The entrance of the building is located at the area. It has a direct connection to the residentials.
Since this area is quite small and it is linked to the kitchen. I felt like making the space a loading bay for the kitchen's goods.
The greeneries at this area will help lower down the CO2 emission from the motorway. It is also a space for the cooks to get their fruits and vegetables.
The dining area would attract passerbies to enter the building. This area will be more bright at night which makes the tunnel area more welcoming.
Ground Floor
The ground floor of the building will focus more on food and dining. In this space, the area is more public compared to the first floor.
First Floor
The art and pottery area will be located at this floor. Artists and visitors who want to create art will have a more quiet and relaxing environment at the top.
The pottery workshop is linked to the art studios in the public hall. I feel like connecting the spaces together so that it creates a more signficant art area.
The green spaces here not only allow cultivation of organic vegetables but I feel like creating a space for kids to have run around and have fun too.
The glazing at the top creates a light well into the building. Here, it shines the plantations at the bottom.
Pottery workshops and studios on the top floor are surrounded by greeneries to inspire the artists and visitor while creating art.
The roof top will also be a garden space for people to relax and grow organic fruits and vegetables.
Analysis
Strengths

The light well gives a holy and calm experience inside the building.

Putting the dining area near the staircase can brighten up that area.

A roof top garden to allow the artist to be surrounded by nature while creating and for visitor to relax and enjoy the views of Stretford.
Weaknesses

The form of the building doesn't quite fit the context.

The shape can look a bit intimidating, people might not be interested to go in.
